Sound Waves Festival announced the 9 headliners for the 17th edition in Esmoriz, scheduled for July 6th: I Hate Models, Deborah de Luca, Azyr, 6EJOU, Dyen, Franck, Joanna Coelho, Miss Sheila and Stëh. With more than 20 hours non-stop, the doors of the venue will open at 5:00 p.m. and the rave will end at 1:30 p.m the following day, taking thousands of festival-goers to the north of Portugal.
The organizers said:” The first 9 names on the line up for the summer 2024 edition were announced in two phases. Sound Waves Festival guarantees that more internationally renowned artists will join the line up, and is already considered the most epic in the event’s history.
LINE UP | PHASE 1
Frenchman I Hate Models, the current techno artist, leads the Sound Waves line up, raising the bar for the best edition in history. The emerging British phenomenon, Azyr, will set the dancefloor on fire with his explosive techno and from Scotland comes Franck, one of the producers of the moment who arrives for the first time in Portugal. Joanna Coelho, one of the international artists most loved by the public, once again shares her best techno. Miss Sheila, the biggest and most influential name in techno in Portugal, will make the crowd roar at Esmoriz.
LINE UP | PHASE 2
The iconic Deborah de Luca joins the 2024 edition with her warm and charismatic techno in a performance that promises to be electrifying. From France 6EJOU will guarantee a live show at the highest level with his Hypnotic Industrial Techno and from Holland Dyen will captivate with his aggressive rhythms. The emerging Stëh is conquering the techno scene in Europe and closes phase 2 of the Sound Waves Festival line up.
This will be a promising year for the Sound Waves brand with the 17th edition scheduled for July 6th, Sound Waves Invites that will announce dates soon and to finish the second edition of Sound Waves Winter Edition that will take place on December 7th, in the Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, in Lisbon. The three events mark the consolidation to the entire global raver community and celebrate the 19 years of the emblematic Portuguese festival.”
