Ushuaïa Entertainment reached an agreement with local organization Caritas Ibiza to settle their outstanding debt during a meeting held at the Hï Ibiza offices.
Yann Pissenem, CEO at Ushuaïa Entertainment (which includes Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza, Playa
Soleil, and brands like ANTS, Palmarama, and Children of the 80’s), and Juan Torres,
director of Caritas Ibiza, finalized the details of the agreement.
As part of the agreement, Ushuaïa Entertainment will be responsible for allocating a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales of their upcoming events at Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza in 2023 to Caritas Ibiza. A total of €200,000 will be allocated to fully settle the debt currently owed by the organization.
This agreement demonstrates Ushuaïa Entertainments commitment to the local community and its willingness to support social causes. By directing part of the event revenues to Caritas Ibiza, Ushuaïa Entertainment aims to contribute to the well-being of the community and support social projects carried out by this organization on the island.
Caritas main objectives are to promote, guide, and coordinate social action, raise awareness and denounce instances of injustice through its various programs, and provide financial support to the most vulnerable families on the island.

Contributions of this magnitude allow us to change lives and offer second chances, exponentially expanding the possibilities for the people we serve. Both organizations recognized the importance of working together to create a positive impact on the local community and commit to maintaining a strong and ongoing relationship, collaborating on future charitable initiatives, and strengthening the connection between the entertainment sector and social well-being in Ibiza.
