Elrow Town return to Antwerp on Saturday 6th of July 2019: after the success of their debut festival last June that saw 15.000 people flock to Belgium’s pristine lake-park Middenvijver – an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Linkeroever area of Antwerp.
The organizers said” Promising to elevate the magic and fun even higher for this new edition, the fully immersive debut festival saw the likes of Âme, Andrea Oliva, Art Department, Steve Lawler and Paco Osuna leading the party from a mind-blowing psychedelic structure and a colossal multi-storey tower-block stage, while giant puppets, enormous inflatables and over one hundred professionally trained actors and stilt walkers dazzled partygoers beneath a monsoon of streamers and confetti.
Once again, the town council join forces to decide where the towns money is spent, this year they have decided to put more money into the flamboyant and quirky chicken ‘Rowmeo’, who will be back to forage around the Middenvijver area in 2019.
Rowgelia, the founder & CEO of elrow Town and her best friend Rowmeo bring us a new addition this year: a camping site that includes a number of different options. This means that on Friday 5 July, you can move in to your tent right next to the festival grounds and start the party even earlier. The festival grounds are only 50 metres away from the camp site.”
