Pacha Foundation donates  €11,000  to Sa Colla de  l’Horta!

Pacha media team said:” The Pacha Foundation announced a generous donation of €11,000 to Sa Colla de l’Horta, a renowned organization dedicated to preserving Ibiza’s traditional crafts and cultural heritage. This contribution provided essential support for a series of educational workshops aimed at passing down the island’s ancient crafts to new generations, ensuring that these valuable traditions would continue to thrive.

Since its creation, Sa Colla de l’Horta has played an essential role in cultural preservation on the island. The organization offered workshops that taught traditional skills such as espadrille-making, basket weaving, and the crafting of traditional women’s clothing. Running until June 2024, these workshops actively engaged the local community, offering hands-on learning experiences guided by master artisans. The generous donation from the Pacha Foundation was instrumental in covering the costs associated with organising these classes and securing the necessary materials, enabling Sa Colla de l’Horta to continue its vital mission.

The Pacha Foundation, established in 2018 as part of The Pacha Group’s broader commitment to social welfare and community engagement, has a rich history of supporting cultural, social, and environmental initiatives across Ibiza. Under the leadership of Chairman of The Pacha Group, Kabir Mulchandani, the Foundation is amplifying its impact through its 2024 strategy, which includes increased support for healthcare, social welfare, outdoor recreation, and environmental conservation efforts. A key focus remains on preserving Ibiza’s cultural identity, with initiatives such as this partnership with Sa Colla de l’Horta serving as a testament to the Foundation’s dedication.
