The organizers said:”Ethereal takes on Christmas and decks the wonderful Las Dalias with a variety of artistic displays, musical performances, and the most loving Christmas spirit out there. With its unique flair, the creative party sensation prepares a Christmas fiesta for the books. On Sunday 18 December 2022, starting at 12:00 noon, the festive season comes to life at Las Dalias and its sparkling Akasha Club after 18:00. Guests will find a special Christmas market, brunch, live sets, visual art, live painting, a kids’ corner, art workshops, and much more, all in line with the beautiful energy of the north of the island as it busts open the doors of perception with the real spirit of Ibiza. It all starts midday, with a live set by Paul Powell during brunch. Bursting with creativity, the British artist plays blues, jazz, funky, and acoustic until 2:00 pm. Up next we have an international star DJ Guy Williams. For practically three decades, this legendary figure has been gracing the likes of Ministry of Sound, the late Space, Manumission, Pacha, to name a few. Recently, he has been running his own party, Flash, at Pikes Ibiza, besides being a resident at Nobu London for eight years, while also playing at Chiltern Firehouse and Sketch in London. His style ranges from soul, funch, chill-out, disco, and 80s all the way to deep and jackin’ house. With myriad productions also under his belt, Guy Williams is a force to be reckoned with. Ethereal regulars and island-favourites, the deeply evocative Medusa Odyssey will be up next also playing live. The Ibiza-based duo use synthesizers, electric guitar, flutes, vocals and drum machines to craft a dreamy ethnic sound that transport listeners to another world. Next up, the marvellous AIGUA, a musical project by the Javier Ferrer, will be getting the soundtrack going in the Garden. Renowned resident at Storytellers events, the Ibizan DJ and producer has shared the booth and studio with some of the finest names in the industry, including Sven Vath, Avicii, Steve Lawler, Black Coffee, and many more, besides being one of 200 Ableton Certified Trainers, a testament to his mastery of the tool. Having been Ushuaïa’s studio CEO, Javier also founded Metrica Sound Studios, as a specialist in immersive audio and the use of music as a therapeutic tool. Working along the intersection between music, science, art, and technology, AIGUA creates sounds like no other and will be performing live On the decks next, island legend Ibàn Mendoza will take it away with a live performance and DJ set together with Abel Pons who will be wowing guests with a live guitar performance. Esteemed across the island and beyond for his power to captivate dance floors, Ibàn has played all over the island’s finest nightclubs for decades, including DC10, Amnesia, Privilege, Pacha, and the late Space. Crowned Best DJ in Ibiza by the DJ Awards in 2014, he distinguishes himself both for his energy and technique behind the decks and the power and creativity of his musical repertoire. Also on the roster, DJ and producer Fell Reis will be keeping up the energy with his vigorous sets, top-notch productions, and dancefloor bangers. Ibiza-based, the Brazilian DJ has played at the island’s finest venues, including Space, Café del Mar, Privilege, Sankeys and The Zoo Project, and he has been hailed by the likes of WhoMadeWho, CamelPhat, Sasha, Nic Fanciulli, Roger Sanchez, and Joris Voorn, to name a few. Resident DJ Edoardo Marvaso, a part of the Ethereal family from the start, will also be on the decks. Inspired by the musical lushness of the island, the Ibiza-based DJ combines modern electronica and vintage grooves, mixing techno with house both in his productions and DJ sets. Working in electronic music since 2000, when he launched his own record label and started touring the world, the music producer and DJ has also been the mind behind the first editions of Sonica festival, the first-ever electronic music festival in Italy. Now he is also in charge of the Ethereal record label and booking agency. On top of his residencies on Ibiza, he has been a regular guest at international events such as Glastonbury Festival, Universo Paralello, Voov Experience, Fusion Festival, Rainbow Serpent, Creamfields, Boom, Glade, as well as releasing tracks on Vapour, Tropical Beats, 7 Oz, SFS Music, Sweep 181 Quanticman and Nuhar. Guests will be able to enjoy the marvellous Christmas market sound tracked by DJ Emil Montgomery. LIBERARTE will be in charge of the artistic displays and various workshops throughout the day to entertain children and adults alike. At 12:00 noon, it all starts with an artistic recycling workshop as well as one making Christmas decorations out of natural elements. Show-cooking and tasting will also be held, including ones with local products and Christmas cookies. Of course, to everyone’s joy, Santa Klaus will also be paying a visit at 12:30. Live painting, performances, music, artistic workshops and much more will keep everyone jolly. Famous on the island and beyond for creating a genuine space for artists and guests alike to share their dreams and individuality, Ethereal runs from 12:00 noon until late on Sunday 18 December 2022 at Las Dalias and welcomes everyone open arms.
