Ibiza By Night meets B Jones: the interview!

B Jones  (in the picture below) is an artist that Ibiza By Night follows since years… Ibiza By Night met B Jones and here you have the interview!
IBN: You recently played Tomorrowland, opening the main stage live stream on Weekend One and being the first ever Spanish artist to play the main stage in the festival history! Congrats. How did that feel? How did you prepare for your set? 
 B Jones: It was one of the most intense moments of my life! I think playing the Tomorrowland main stage is the best experience for a deejay, everything is magic there and you can really feel the energy from the people from the booth. I was preparing the set for several months, 80% percent of the tracks that I mixed were my own productions, mashups or remixes that I did for that day.
IBN: What were the Top 3 tracks that you knew you had to play during the show?
B Jones:The intro “Human” that will be my next release, my track ‘BELLA CIAO’ with which I closed the set, and the Maddix remix of Tïesto’s ‘Lethal Industry’.
IBN: You are an inspiration for female DJs and producers around the world but which ones are your inspiration? Who do you admire the most? 
B Jones: Nervo has always inspired me, as they have been breaking barriers and were the first women to perform on many main stages around the world.
IBN: Earlier this year, you started your own record label, Come Closer Records. What are your plans for the label? 
B Jones: When I started this project only it was just with my own productions, but I think now is the time to expand it and my plan is to release music continuously, giving support to other artists
IBN: Of course, we must talk about Ibiza. When did you first come to Ibiza and what were your first impressions of the island? Has that changed at all over the years? 
B Jones:I came 23 years ago when I was a young girl so of course it has changed, as everything has evolved since then! There were no highways and people didn’t come looking for VIPs in clubs, people came to dance! This is true now too, but it is also true that there is a new public that looks for VIP and luxury as they do anywhere else.
 
 IBN: What have been some of your most memorable moments in Ibiza?  
B Jones:<2The day that I played with Steve Angello in Hï ibiza!”
IBN: What would you say to someone who has never been? What are the most important things you would want them to know about the White Isle? 
B Jones: “Ibiza is an island full of energy and sensations, it is a place to choose a comfortable shoe, enjoy the best parties in the world and at the same time enjoy the day with its markets, and the crystal clear water beaches. My advice is to fall in love with the island and feel the freedom and joy that the island has. You can’t pay for the most incredible experiences in Ibiza with money.”
