Ibiza By Night meets ManyFew (in the picture below), a Stockholm based duo of dj and producers for an intriguing interview!
IBN: Hi ManyFew and welcome to Ibiza By Night! How are you guys?
ManyFew: Hey! We’re both doing good thank you and we’re right now spending time in the studio preparing for upcoming releases.
IBN:For those who don’t know you, can you tell us a little bit about ManyFew?
ManyFew: ManyFew consists of us Jacob and Victor two brothers from Sweden and ManyFew is all about sharing and spreading positive vibes to the world through our music. We started ManyFew a few years back on SoundCloud and we’re now releasing music on Axtone, 3Beat, Spinnin’ Records and have gained support from the biggest names and radio stations in the industry. We are also running our global radio show ‘Electronic Heaven’ which has over 1 million listeners and it’s available on Apple’s Podcast and Google’s Podcast and on radio stations worldwide. We’re for example resident DJs with the show on Cafe Mambo Radio 🙂
IBN:We are located on the White Isle! What are your favourite memories in Ibiza and what does it mean to you?
ManyFew: We absolutely love the White Isle and we have many fun and great memories from Ibiza. To perform at Ibiza Rocks is always so much fun and great vibes. We love to hangout on the beach, Cala Saladeta is one of our favorite sweet spots. The pool parties at Ibiza Rocks or Ocean Beach are always so much fun. Watching the sunset at Café Mambo is so beautiful and it’s always a great way to warming up for the club life. Something we really like with Ibiza is that even though it’s a Sunday morning at 3am it’s always packed in the nightclubs like Amnesia and Hï. Parties are going on 24/7 which is so cool. We also love spending chill time in Formentera. So beautiful!
IBN:You have a new track coming out on 3 Beat called ‘Locked In Your Heart’ – what was the inspiration behind the song and how does it feel sharing it with the world?
ManyFew: We got in touch with Leo.809 last summer and we started working on the first idea of the track. We wanted to produce a track which has those 90s/R’n’B vibes but at the same time with a modern dance music twist. We love piano and the summer and wanted to give that summer feel to it. We produced the rough idea quite quickly but we’ve been paying lots of attention to the details and been working on this one for many months now to give it the right feeling.
IBN:If you could host your own party in Ibiza, where would it be and who would be playing on the lineup?
ManyFew: We’ll kick off the day with a big pool party at Ibiza Rocks playing feel good tunes with clubby vibes to it. Then we’re heading to Café Mambo for a sunset DJ set.
At night we’re continuing the party with a ‘Electronic Heaven Night by ManyFew’ were we’ll be broadcasting the show live and play a more clubby set at Hï. We’ll invite artists that we’re collaborating with and also DJs we are inspired by such as Axwell, Fatboy Slim, David Guetta
IBN:Where was the last place you played before lockdown?
ManyFew: Ministry Of Sound – The Weekender
IBN:What is one positive you guys have taken from the pandemic?
ManyFew: You can make good connections via the web and video calls, writing songs etc which can be efficient but nothing compares to meeting in real life and to performing live. We look so much forward to the world to open up again and to continue touring.
IBN: Do you have anything else you would like to share with our readers?
ManyFew:We’d like to do a big shout out to everyone for supporting our music! We hope that you like our brand new single ‘Locked In Your Heart’. The song is starting to get support on radio stations like BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, Capital FM, Global Ibiza Radio, Dash Radio.
