Asociación Ocio de Ibiza (AOI) that represents 38 ibiza hotels, clubs and beach clubs, as Dc-10, Blue Marlin Ibiza, Circoloco, Destino Ibiza, Heart Ibiza, Hard Rock Hotel, Hï Ibiza , Ibiza Rocks, Lìo, Pacha, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Pikes Hotel, asked to Balearic government reopen Ibiza clubs from June 2021!

The manager of the Association, Josè Luis Benitez, said that the protocol presented today to the Government needs to be approved by the health authorities and said that’s essential that there are more immunized people and that the health alert be lowered (the score is 70% of immunized people).
Benítez, also said that the protocol will include several procedures depending on the type of access to the premises and the number of attendees. Periodico de Ibiza reported:”Thus, in closed spaces, for example, clients must be vaccinated and certified green digital (Digital Green Pass) in order and date, where this fact is indicated or in which it is established that they have passed the disease or have a PCR carried out less than 72 hours ago (or whatever the regulations establish).” In the meantime to these specific measures could be added other generic measures already used such as the mandatory wearing of masks, the installation of dispensers of hydroalcoholic gel, the availability of masks in the bars for customers who demand it, the continuous cleaning of bathrooms, and also the installation of CO₂ meters and also air filtration and purification systems for closed rooms.
It was also proposed that, to avoid transmission and increase the security sought, the establishments of the sector could carry out a minimum test every 72 hours on their workers on a voluntary basis.
