This is the message posted by Anna Tur:”As a communicator, rather than as a director, I have decided not to write, but to speak to give you this message:
Today I say goodbye to one of the most important things that has happened to me in my life, after 16 years as a director who has always been faithful to the way of understanding radio and the way of working as a team, at what has been a dream come true, a dream called Ibiza Global Radio.
At IGR we have lived so many things as a family: Successes, crisis, adapting to new ways of consuming music, to the needs of clients… explaining streamings, and also the births of children, marriages, illnesses, loss of relatives… Through all of that, we have been a FAMILY.
I have made my mistakes in these 16 years, many for sure, but also great achievements, as a team. I take with me the pride in knowing that TODAY, Ibiza Global Radio is the best electronic radio in the world.
Customers, artists, collaborators, brands, associated stations, partners, and of course and perhaps most importantly: THANK YOU TO THE LISTENERS.
I’m not leaving, I’ve been kicked out. I’m not ashamed to say it. I’m leaving through the back door, but with dignity. Sometimes, both in personal and professional life, it is not easy to understand each other, specially when you add on top of it, this exceptional situation called Covid. We have reached a limit in which it is better to end this as soon as possible, although the person in charge of this is not me.
I don’t feel sorry for leaving, but for the longing I will feel for my colleagues and listeners, the daily contact with collaborators and clients…
I leave looking forward to the future, determined and with a feeling of PEACE that I haven’t felt in a long time. I believe that this, alongside my honesty and tranquillity, are priceless.
Those of you who know me know that I am an entrepreneur, nonconformist, restless and we will meet again in one way or another, but now I just want peace in my mind and to meditate and think, without rushing.
