East London’s nightclub E1 has announced its November highlights: the East London club prepares for a month of label showcases and artist-curated nights, all within the house soundscape. A massive November schedule awaits E1’s visitors as the club will see German imprint Watergate coming to celebrate a never-before-seen London label showcase, the seventh birthday party of Percolate promoters, Joris Voorn’s personally curated night on the day after the launch of his fourth album and Parisian minimal sound trio Apollonia premiering their Planet Claire Ibiza residency in London.
This is added up by two other highlights:
On the 22nd of November, E1 will be host to Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two party. After the success of last year’s showcase, the ever-talented Geordie is expected to bring on something even bigger and better. From honing his craft on Hot Creations to becoming a regular in the international scene, the launch of Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two marked a pivotal milestone in his career. The upcoming label showcase caters for electronic music fans from all ends of the spectrum: Besides special guest Davide Squillace, founder of Kwench records and a leading light for female DJs across the globe, Cassy will be debuting in E1’s London home.
Label regular Jansons will also be returning to the warehouse, having carved out a signature identity in the house and techno soundscape. As one-third of the recently formed Superlux trio, Johnny Hunter rounds off the billing.
The day after, on the 23rd of November, krankbrother, a host of the finest, most experienced talents in minimal, will bring an all-night showcase to E1. As the perfect venue for the stripped-down aesthetic on show, the club will host a lineup led by one of the founding fathers of the UK’s acid house scene, Baby Ford. Ion Ludwig brings his hotly acclaimed live experience to E1 for the first time, too and Edward will be back to the krankbrother fold. The bill is rounded off with another live set from Kann label head, DJ-producer Map.Ache and the wonderful Vlada. This one’s for the minimal heads – don’t miss it!
