Pikes Ibiza, the cult venue of San Antonio, announced “Spin artist residency”.
Pikes team said:”We are delighted to announce our fist ever Art Residency will take place at Pikes this March 15 until April 15, 2018.
The SPiN Artist Residency at Pikes Ibiza has been formulated with renowned artist Victor Spinelli to encourage creative, experimental thinking and personal growth of emerging and established visual artists. It is a program of individual pursuit among a community of artistic peers. It is expected that artists will have the sufficient skills and experience to work independently in their studio area.
Risk taking and mutual dialogue with other international artists is one of the objectives of the residency and for artists to engage in progressive ideas, without the pressures from normal daily life. Each resident at The SPiN Artist Residency at Pikes Ibiza is to use this gift of time and space to actively pursue artistic research through a rigorous studio practice.
