Ibiza for many artists and djs is not only the party island, but also a choose of life.
Today Ibiza by night meets Gaty Lopez, an appreciated Italian dj and producer based in the magic Island.
Gaty two years ago moved to Ibiza: “ After years playing up and down for Italy and in all Europe I needed a place to start new productions and to follow my projects: Ibiza is the perfect place to work, especially for the productions in winter time, and in the Island I found the “right atmosphere” for my job”.
Gaty, who is graduated in economy and discussed a tesi about the history and the evolutions of radios, decided to work as dj many years ago: “After the degree in economy I had job opportunities, but I still wanted work as Dj and as a producer, so I refused all of them and I followed my dream”.
Actually Gaty (in the picture below) in summertime is the resident dj at Jet beach in Playa d’en Bossa and plays also at Bubbles, at Pacha and also at private and exclusive events.
He’s also certified trainer Ableton live, the world’s best selling software specifically for DJs and producers
But in next weeks there will be many important news for Gaty.
From the 16th of March will start for Gaty the American tour: first stop Miami, at the Winter music conference, where Gaty plays since many years, and then a tour around the States: Chicago, Milwaukee, and more dates are upcoming!

And what about summer 2013? Gaty says:”I am sure that will be a great summer in Ibiza! With a lot of music, events, and I am organizing many musical surprises”.
